Garri Kasparov was the first chess player in history to break the mark of 2,800 ranking points. The highest ranking in his career was achieved on July 1, 1999, with a score of 2851 points he was then 1st on the world FIDE list [9].
At the peak of his career, he played - and won - simultaneous clock games with the national teams of each country. He considers one of his greatest chess achievements to be a 7–1 victory in a two-day simultaneous against the national team of Israel, which consisted of 4 grandmasters (Emil Sutowski, Ilya Smirin, Oleksandr Chuzman and Borys Alterman), and her average ranking exceeded 2600 ranking points. In another competition of this type, he defeated the Czech team (in the grandmaster squad, Sergei Mowsesjan, Zbyněk Hráček, Vlastimil Babula and Tomáš Oral) in a ratio of 5½ to 2½ [10] [11].
